Land, Sea, and Air are visually distinct and independent, yet they share three common concepts. Calm: Their simple, gentle, and timeless forms allow the details of their finishes to shine. Honesty: No artificial embellishments are added to enhance the value of the striated texture. Versatility: The absence of molds allows for variations in the luminaires’ forms.

A Call for Circularity

Earth, Sea, and Air is a lighting collection based on two ideas: the democratization of large-scale 3D printing and a focus on circularity and sustainability. The three collections are conceived as a call to action regarding the need to rethink our relationship with the planet.

Designed by Héctor Serrano

Winner of the 2024 National Design Award, his design studio has been working on innovative and timeless projects for over 20 years. Héctor Serrano’s focus is on creating products and spaces that appeal to people in the most human, emotional, and extraordinary way possible.

3D-Printed

Tierra, Mar, and Aire are manufactured using large-scale 3D printing with 100% recycled and recyclable plastics and bioplastics, produced locally, on demand, and without molds, thereby reducing the environmental impact of storage and transportation.

Inspiration

The inspiration for Aire stems from the moment when air itself is conceived as a material for lighting fixtures—a material that is impervious to plastic and forms an integral part of the object itself. As a result, Aire creates large bubbles that fill the space, imbuing it with personality and sophistication. The simplicity of the Aire collection highlights the material’s striations, creating an attractive optical effect that gives it a handcrafted feel.

Recycled and Sustainable Materials

The Aire collection is made from 100% recycled PET, the most recycled plastic in the world. Although its composition allows it to be recycled multiple times while maintaining its characteristics, only 9% of the world’s plastic waste is recycled.

Available in 3 Sizes

Thanks to 3D printing, Aire can be manufactured in large sizes that would not be possible using other production processes due to its weight.
