Safety distances.

1.- Between the lamp and unlit surfaces or objects, it must not be less than 0.5 m..
2.- Between built-in appliances not less than 0.5m 
3.- Between the highest part of the recess and the ceiling not less than 2.5 cm. 
4.- Between the vertical walls (inside the ceiling) and the body of the recessed appliance once installed not less than 7.5 cm. 
5.- Check that the bulb is correctly housed in the lamp holder.

Ceiling installation. Before starting any assembly or installation, make sure that you have disconnected the power supply. 

1.- Drill a hole in the ceiling to ensure a minimum gap that does not coincide with beams, pipes or electrical cables (see dimensions of the socket hole). Connect the Gu10 lamp holder to the mains. Insert the recessed into the ceiling and remove the lamp holder through the recessed hole. 
2.- Grounding is not necessary. If there is one, make sure that it is completely isolated and that it cannot have any kind of contact. Make sure that no metal parts come into contact with any other earthed metal appliance.
