Terracotta is a type of ceramic and tableware made of clay, usually recognisable by its brownish-red colour. Its natural, and Mediterranean look suits almost all gardens and interiors. This material is perfect for lovers of modern design with a nod to the past.

Pandan is made from the pine tree that is grown in Indonesia. It is a strong and flexible material. Pandan leaves are used to design beautiful decorative pieces and furniture and are made into ropes to braid into objects.

It is common for small white chalk stains to appear on Terracotta if it is used as a planter, due to the tap water used to water the plants. These white spots are easily removed with hot water and a small splash of vinegar. During the winter months, it is recommended to leave the terracotta indoors to prevent it from freezing and cracking due to temperatures below 0 degrees.

It is recommended to keep the Pandan away from environments with a lot of water and/or light. Because it contains natural fibres, Pandan may become mouldy, discoloured or deformed.
