Terracotta is a type of ceramic and tableware made of clay, usually recognisable by its brownish-red colour. Its natural, and Mediterranean look suits almost all gardens and interiors. This material is perfect for lovers of modern design with a nod to the past.

Seagrass is the only flowering plant that can live underwater and can be found in the coastal waters of most continents. When the plants are still green, seagrass is hand-woven into beautiful furniture. Once dry, it loses its green colour and becomes firm.

The outside of the Seagrass is smooth and shiny, allowing for easy maintenance by simply wiping it with a soft cloth. If you wish, you can steam the seagrass to straighten it. It is recommended to be kept indoors, as it can rot in the rain and discolour in the sun.

It is common for small white chalk stains to appear on terracotta if it is used as a planter, due to the tap water used to water the plants. These white spots are easily removed with hot water and a small splash of vinegar. During the winter months, it is recommended to leave the terracotta indoors to prevent it from freezing and cracking due to temperatures below 0 degrees.
